Three Cleaning Methods for Woven Bag Printing Machines

1. Chemical solvent scrubbing method
Spray the chemical solvent onto the surface of the anilox roller, and select a suitable fine brush according to the material of the anilox roller (stainless steel brush for ceramic anilox rollers, copper wire brush for metal anilox rollers), and scrub repeatedly with the brush.
This method is only suitable for cleaning coarse-line anilox rollers. Its advantages are low cost, easy cleaning, and no environmental pollution; its disadvantages are that it cannot reach deep into the ink cavities for cleaning, resulting in incomplete cleaning. It is difficult to clean dirt and accumulated ink at the bottom of the ink cavities. Therefore, the ink cavity volume cannot be restored.
2.Chemical solvent immersion method
Immersing all or part of the anilox roller of a woven bag printing machine in a tank of highly corrosive cleaning agent with a high pH value allows the solvent to dissolve and soften the dried ink. Afterward, the corrosive cleaning solution and the fully corroded and softened ink are washed away with clean water. Although this method is relatively effective, long-term use will cause the corrosive solvent to penetrate the protective layer and corrode the steel body, which is also not good for the environment.
3. Ultrasonic cleaning method
The anilox roller is immersed in a tank of an ultrasonic cleaning system filled with chemical cleaning solution. The frequency converter in the tank sends high-frequency sound waves, which cause the solution to vibrate and generate bubbles. Under the combined action of the solution vibration and the inward explosive force generated by the directional explosion of the bubbles, the dry ink, resin and coating material in the ink cavity are expelled from one point in the ink cavity and flowed away with the cleaning solution.
